Bettie Dickerson Pilgrim, 71, died June 11, 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6-9 pm at Southern Funeral Home in Durant. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Southern Funeral Home in Durant. Burial will be in Seneasha Cemetery in Goodman.
Bettie was a seamstress for Durant Sportswear and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors are husband, John M. Pilgrim; sons, Johnny Pilgrim of Sallis, Chris Pilgrim of Laurel and Hubert Pilgrim of Sallis; daughters, Tammy Spell of Sallis and Kayla Caldwell of Yazoo City, MS; sisters, Mary Evelyn Crowder of Durant, Rowena Upchurch of Sallis, Sandra Hicks of Sallis, Celia Holly of Ft. Wayne, IA; Peggy Smith of Sallis and Nell Prevost of Clinton, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
