James Elbert Fox, 81, died January 22, 2016 at his residence. Visitation, Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 5 pm til 8 pm at Southern Funeral Home in Durant. Funeral services, Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2 pm also at Southern Funeral Home. Burial in Mizpah Cemetery in Durant. Officiating by Rev. Donald Self.
Mr. Fox worked for ICC Railroad for 13 years and was a veteran of the Air Force an a member of Bowlin Baptist Church.
Survivors are wife, Imogene Fox of Kosciusko and sons, James Elbert Fox, Jr. of Texas, Robert Fox of Bay St. Louis, Allen P. Fox of Blackhawk, Sidney Dean Fox of Greenwood, Charles Wesley Fox of McCarley, James McAdams of Kosciusko, Ray McAdams of Kosciusko and Calvin McAdams of McAdams; brother, Newton Fox of Sallis; 23 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Katie Mae Fox; brother, Buddy Fox and his 1st wife, Stella McCorkle Fox.
