Mr. James Clayton Engle, 77, died December 9, 2016 at Lexington Manor Nursing Home in Lexington. Graveside services will be 2 pm Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the family cemetery, near the family's home.
Mr. Engle was a retired machine operator for Grief Brothers of Durant and a member of Bowlin Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Fay Sims Engle, sons, Lewis Engle (Kelly) of Durant, William Engle of Durant, Joseph Engle (Brittany) of Lexington, and Matthew Engle of Durant; daughters, Sandy Johnson of Kosciusko and Beth Adcock (Jeremy) of Sallis; brother, Bobby Louis Engle of Forest; sisters, Betty Jean Walker of Texas and Peggy Waddell of Sallis; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Engle.
