Kathleen Hopson Davis was born July 19, 1938 to Mr. Fred and Mrs. Elnora Hopson in Holmes County, MS. She was one of 6 children born in their union.

She attended school in Holmes County at "The Little Red School House" in the Richland area.

At an early age, she united with the Hebron United Methodist Church in Lexington, MS where she remained a member until she made her transition on Friday, October 20.

In 1954, she united in holy matrimony to James "Slick" Davis, and to their union three children were born; Jeff, Marion, and Hilda. They went on to raise two of their grandchildren as their own; Jacob and Greg.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her husband James, her son Jeff, three sisters; Linda K. Mable, and Lillie, and one brother; John.

Left to cherish her memories are her children; Marion, Hilda(Chris), Jacob(Bridget), and Greg, fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother; James Donald Martin, one sister; Jeanette Martin, and many other relatives and friends.
