James Wilson Martin, 87, died January 20, 2018 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Visitation will be 10 am til service time at 1 pm Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery in Lexington.
James was a retired foreman at New Orleans Furniture for 16 years. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Thelma Tyson Martin of Lexington; sons, James R. Martin (Judy) of Lexington and Bobby L. Martin of Goodman; daughter, Marsha Scarborough (Tommy) of Richland, MS; brothers, Marcus Martin, Jr. (Ester) of Crystal Springs and Bill Martin (Margaret) of Pickens; sister, Mary Jean Odom (Edward) of Camden; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
