Florence Bernice McCreary passed away on Tuesday March 14th 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Jackson MS. She was the daughter and 1 of 9 children of Bernice and Lee Marshall of South Georgia (both deceased). Mrs. McCreary is survived by her husband Herbert McCreary of West, MS; daughter Elizabeth Bonner of Cumming, GA; Son Herbert Rogers of South GA and son Lee Rogers of Sanford, FL. Her surviving siblings are Edward Marshall of Crystal Springs, MS; Jean McCreary of Brandon, MS and James Marshall of Como, NC. She was also blessed to have 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a host of very dear nieces and nephews. She was lovingly known as Aunt Florence or Grandma.

A memorial service was held at Southern Funeral Home in Durant, MS on Saturday March 18th and Mrs. McCreary was buried at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in West, MS. A luncheon was hosted by the Church Community following the graveside service.
