Joseph Edward "Bud" Harrell, 72, died September 6, 2017. Visitation will be 1 pm til 2:30 pm Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington. Graveside services will be 3 pm Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Harland Creek Cemetery in Lexington. Pallbearers will be Trent Harrell, Eric Harrell, Jason Woodard, Monty Greer, Pete Aldy and Scotty Greer. Bro. Lyn Nations will officiate.
Mr. Harrell was a Air Force veteran and a retired police officer for Mississippi Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors are sons, Eric Brock Harrell of Bon Aqua, TN and Ronald Trent Harrell of Vestavia, AL; sisters, Lois Greer of Dillard, GA and Shirley Woodard of Clinton, MS; and 6 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Lois Warrene Harthcock Harrell.
