Fredrick Allen Hughes, 77, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5 pm til 7 pm, Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington.. Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery in Tchula.
Allen was a farmer, a member of the MS National Guard and a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church.
Survivors are sons, Jimmy Wayne Hughes, Frederick Allen Hughes, Jr and James Robert Hughes all of Clinton; daughter, Carolyn H. Boyles of Clinton; brothers, Marshall Hughes and Carl Victor Hughes both of Tchula; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Irene Hughes; son, Michael Hughes; daughter, Debra Lynn Hughes; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
