Obituary for James Lester "Bubba" Snell Jr.
James Lester "Bubba" Snell, Jr, of Hernando, MS, passed away at his home on Monday, November 29, 2021.
Bubba was a graduate of Durant High School and Mississippi State University.
He was retired from the U.S.. Corps of Engineers and was a member of First Baptist Church of Durant, MS.
Bubba was preceded in death by his parents James Lester and Dorothy Sponberger Snell, and sisters Sandra Deason, Eva Frazier, and Cathy Courts.
He is survived by his sisters Doris Blaylock and Martha Truitt of Kosciusko, MS, and Marie Sanders of Winona, MS, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Brister Cemetery near Durant, MS.
