Obituary for Jim
James A. "Jim" Robertson, 67, of Durant, MS passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Jackson, MS.
Jim was retired from the U. S. Army and served two tours in Desert Storm. He was a member of Bowlin Baptist Church.
Jim was born in Attala County to Henry and Luna Pearl Perry Robertson, who proceeded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister Jeanette McCrory.
He is survived by his wife Penny Robertson of Durant, and sons Tyler Robertson of Durant, and James A. (Brenda) Robertson, Jr. of Clinton and grandchildren Piper and Kate, and a daughter Toni (Cecil) Harris of Brandon, MS and grandchildren Mason and Taylor. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy (John) Weeks of Tupelo and Martha Thompson of Senatobia.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 1, 2022 at Bowlin Baptist Cemetery in Attala County at 2:30 p.m. with visitation at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington beginning at 1:00 p.m.
