Obituary for Sarah "Polly" Adcock
Sarah Elizabeth "Polly" Thompson Adcock, 83, formerly of Durant, MS, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at her residence in Yazoo City, MS.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents George Robert and Sadie Elizabeth Osborn Thompson, her husband Grover Alvin Adcock, sons Gregory A. Adcock and Danny L. Adcock.
Sarah was a home maker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Durant.
Sarah is survived by her sister Winnie Grace Thompson Winstead of Yazoo City, MS, and her sister-in-laws Rose Marie Lasley Thompson of Lexington, MS and Ruth Thompson of Conover, N. C.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 1 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington, MS. Burial will follow in Mizpah Cemetery in Durant, MS.
