Obituary for Melba Dean Davis
Melba Dean Davis, 75, passed away at her home on July 28, 2022. She was a homemaker and Elderly Care Provider, and a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Melba was preceded in death by her mother Myree Tyson Shanks and stepfather James Moore Shanks. She was also preceded in death by her sister Patricia Shanks White.
Melba Dean is survived by her daughter Deanier (Jason) Drummond of Stewart, MS, and her son Bubba Davis of Ohio.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Brittney (Joseph) Dees and Cody Roberts and three great grandchildren Kenzie Dees, Luke Dees, and Wyatt Dees, all of Stewart, MS.
Visitation and funeral services will be Saturday, August 6, 2022 from the Southern Funeral Home in Lexington, MS. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
